2roofs was privileged to meet Susanna and Chris when they arrived in Bellingham, WA to look for a home to buy. We enjoyed helping them find the perfect craftsman to purchase in a walkable neighborhood. Meanwhile, as they were busy updating and renovating, their purchase went to help 12 year old Mynor also get a new place to call home.

Meet Mynor
Mynor has had a lot of heartbreak for his young age. His father abandoned the family while his mother was pregnant with him so he grew up with his grandfather and mother. Sadly, his mother later passed away and he was left in the care of his grandfather who is elderly and unable to work. Mynor and his grandfather lived in a house made of old sheets of metal with a dirt floor (see photo below). The shelter was in very poor condition and about to fall down.
Thanks to Susanna and Chris, Minor now lives in this new home with his grandfather.
Mynor is now focusing on his education and playing soccer with his friends.
